FIRST Robotics at Brighton High is an excellent way for our students to gain technical experience and learn hands-on engineering skills. It has gathered students who have a tendency to study STEM Majors in college to participate and engage in a high-level, competitive engineering project.

“Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire.” – William Butler Yeats

With the support of the Gelfand Family Charitable Trust, Brighton High’s FIRST Robotics Team has successfully trained students to focus on difficult tasks and work as a team in a professional manner. Throughout the three months of build and competition season, we keep pushing youngsters at Brighton High to strive higher and look beyond their limited community options with a goal to succeed in the engineering-related field and drive positive changes in society.
